North EastDelhi Surface MineBlagdon Estate, Northumberland Site Status: Coaling operations complete Local Authority: Northumberland County Council Coaling operations on the Delhi site have now been completed. Work has now begun to restore the site. Historic photographs and plans have been used to develop the restoration concept which has been developed in conjunction with local residents, Northumberland County Council, Castle Morpeth Borough Council, English Heritage and Blagdon Estate.
Part of the Delhi site is included in our planning application for the proposed Brenkley Lane Surface Mine, for further information please see the project page for this site. |
