Banks Brothers Transport Ltd. is based at The Banks Groups’ head office in West Cornforth in County Durham. It provides a broad range of road haulage services for the Group and other customers.

Our modern transport fleet with its distinctive livery includes 14 articulated tipping trailers capable of carrying a payload of 29 tonnes. Each tractor and trailer unit is fitted with air suspension, an automated sheeting system and on-board payload weighing facilities. We carry a wide range of commodities including coal, aggregates, bricks and specialist loads like animal feed.

We also have 2 low loaders for dealing with large and oversize loads. Each vehicle is capable of running in Category 1, 2 & 3 up to 150 tonnes.

Our transport fleet is operated by our team of uniformed drivers who work to the high standards set out in our Transport Charter. The transport fleet is maintained in our own fully equipped garage and workshop facilities which are also able to offer servicing and repair services for other customers.
